Writing has always been one of my favorite hobbies so naturally I found myself writing my own screenplays throughout most of my career. I’ve had two recent scripts place as finalists in multiple festivals and have had highly encouraging script coverage for each of them. While I usually write for myself, I’ve also consulted other writers on scripts and helped them clean up or redirect their projects to better meet their goals. I’m always open to commissions, rewrites, or collaborations.

I’m also a published critical analyst. My studies of film tend to follow the works of Guillermo del Toro, genre hybridizing, and auterism in a globalized market, I have also written or spoken about numerous topics from horror films to superhero studies, feminist symbolism to adolescent representation, and much more.
